International “brew” Beer Day

Well look at that, today turned into a double celebration. I had a planned to brew up the Coopers Marilyn’s Secret an American Blonde Ale today without even knowing it was the International Beer Day. It will be the first time I brew up this one with the new Thomas Coopers Inkeeper’s Daughter Sparkling Ale, wonder how much the recipe will change.
This will be my third time brewing Marilyn’s Secret, this really knocked my socks off. The Motueka Hop and Vic Secret Hop Pellets just gave this a wonderful fruity taste with a nice hoppy kick to it.
And it was also a surprise to me that I can brew up something this good, in a pot in the corner of my kitchen. I would happily part with my hard earned credits for a ale like this down the local. Best part it is recommended to drink early so therefore, no long waiting time either.
A well smelling pot started off at OG 1050, now the wait begins.
Today was dry hop day, just dropped in 25g of Vic Secret Pellets Hops in an already wonderfully smelling FV. Been holding steady at 19C which is good news.

Bottled 40 bottles today with a FG 1015, so about 5% when it is finished. Which is about 1.5% below previous version of this one.
