Renaissance Brewing Company – Perfection English style Pale Ale
Brewery : Renaissance Brewing Company
Name : Perfection English style Pale Ale
Country : New Zealand
Style : Perfection English style Pale Ale
ABV/VOL/ALC : 5%
Note from brewery :
This beer is a take on Britain’s traditional beer styles, styles that Andy is incredibily passionate about, and is best described as an English Pale Ale. Four malts produce the beer’s rich amber hue and biscuity, toffeeish and nutty flavours, while our London ale yeast contributes its own tart, berry-like signature. Resiny hops then cleanse the palate and dominate the beer’s emphatic finish.
Silver at the Australian international beer awards in 2010.
Note from the taster :
Creamy and tart it is but I could not find the toffee notes. Probably because I drank I right after Mike’s Organic Ale.
If I drank this a bit warmer than they like it down in New Zealand, I would feel like I was in a dark London pub with sticky carpet – so hard to find now of days.
I wouldn’t say perfection but a very good try on a traditional English ale and a very enjoyable drink.
A big tall label easy to read and easy on the eye, nice colours. The shape of the label goes well with the big 500ml bottle.
