James Squire – Stow Away
Brewery : James Squire
Name : Stow Away
Country : Australia
Style : IPA (Indian Pale Ale)
ABV/VOL/ALC : 5.6%
Note from brewery :
James Squire India Pale Ale is made with only Munich and pale malt, so it brews to a rich, golden colour, with a robust, malty character. Its earthy floral aromas are a result of dry-hopping with English Fuggles hops added in generous amounts directly to the maturation tanks. This India Pale Ale is handcrafted in the traditional style. It is higher in alcohol, effervescent and has a characteristic highly hopped bitterness with a crisp finish on the palate.
Note from the taster :
Close to an ale, nice and dark in taste. This would go down well with a stew and not on a 38c hot day.
Not as funny a name as the others beer from James Squire.
Simple label good colour, and as always with James Squire beers a nice little story to read while drinking. Trying to look like it is printed on an old bit of paper.
